Car carrier DON QUIJOTE broke off her moorings in the evening Jul 9 in strong gusty wind, in Bremerhaven, drifted across the basin and contacted Lloyd Werft pier, knocking off gantry crane and inflicting other damages, estimated as substantional. The ship was later taken under control and returned to her berth.
